Fit-outs on a deadline.
New offices in Maroochydore and consulting suites at Birtinya are usually fitted out against a fixed lease start. Cabling has to land between framing and sheeting, and in coordination with electricians, ceiling fixers and joiners. We work to the builder's programme and turn up when we say we will.
We plan outlets with the tenant before rough-in, so desks, printers, wireless access points, cameras and screens all have a point where they are needed.
Fit-out scope
- Cat6 and Cat6A horizontal cabling
- Comms racks and patching
- Wireless access point outlets
- Points for CCTV, access and AV
- Testing and certification reports
- Labelling and as-built drawings
Larger sites and distance.
Warehouses at Meridan Plains or Kunda Park often have offices at one end and dispatch at the other, beyond copper limits. We run fibre backbones between buildings and to remote comms cabinets.
Where trenching is not practical, such as across a yard or between neighbouring sheds, a wireless point-to-point link can carry data and camera traffic instead.
Common requirements
- Fibre between buildings
- Outdoor-rated cable in coastal sites
- Wireless links across yards
- Rack tidy-ups in existing offices
- Moves, adds and changes
Common questions.
Can you work to a builder's fit-out programme?
Yes. We coordinate rough-in and fit-off with the builder and other trades so cabling does not hold up the job.
Do you provide test results?
Every link is tested and the results are provided with labelled as-built documentation at handover.
Can you tidy an existing comms cupboard?
Yes. We re-patch, label and document existing racks, and replace cabling where it is not to standard.
