Older blocks, new architecture.
Many original Buddina homes have been replaced with contemporary builds. That is the ideal moment to plan security: cabling concealed in walls, cameras placed with the architect, and a rack and network designed for the whole house.
We work alongside your builder through design, pre-line and fit-off so nothing is surface-mounted or improvised later.
New build sequence
- Review plans and agree device locations
- Pre-line cabling before plaster
- Rack, network and AV planning
- Fit-off with colour-matched hardware
- Commissioning and app handover
Beachside exposure.
Homes close to the beach and Point Cartwright take steady salt-laden wind. We use sealed housings and stainless fixings, and recommend service visits to keep equipment clean and working.
Beach paths and public walkways nearby mean more passers-by. Detection zones are drawn tightly around your boundary so alerts stay meaningful.
Garages and side passages on narrow beachside blocks are easy to overlook. We cover them with compact cameras and door sensors, so bikes, boards and cars are protected and you can confirm the garage is closed from the app.
Typical inclusions
- Video intercom at gate or entry
- Keyless locks with per-user access
- Monitored alarm
- Discreet external cameras
Common questions.
When should I bring you in on a new Buddina build?
Ideally at design stage, and no later than pre-line, so cabling can be concealed.
Will people walking past trigger alerts?
No. We set detection zones to your property boundary and use person-detection analytics.
How often should coastal equipment be serviced?
We generally suggest an annual service for beachside homes, more often for exposed sites.
