Established homes, upgraded properly.
Many Buderim homes have an older alarm, a few standalone cameras and a doorbell that does not talk to anything. We replace the patchwork with one integrated system: IP cameras, a monitored alarm, keyless entry and a video intercom, all in one app.
In established homes we work carefully through ceilings and subfloors to keep cabling hidden and finishes intact.
We also bring older homes onto a proper network. Cameras, intercoms and keyless locks need reliable connections, and established homes often rely on a single router. Structured cabling and well-placed access points fix that for the whole household.
Typical upgrade
- Replace legacy alarm with a modern system
- IP cameras replacing standalone units
- Video intercom at gate or door
- Keyless entry
- Reliable network across the home
Slopes, trees and acreage pockets.
Sloping blocks and mature trees create blind spots and challenge camera angles. Some properties have acreage, sheds and long drives. We plan sightlines on site and use wireless links where outbuildings are too far to cable.
Mountain storms can be severe, so surge protection and battery backup are part of the design.
Larger properties
- Driveway and gate coverage
- Shed and outbuilding cameras
- Wireless point-to-point links
- Storm protection for equipment
Common questions.
Can you reuse my existing alarm cabling?
Sometimes. We assess what is there and reuse sound cabling where it suits the new design.
How do you handle trees blocking camera views?
We survey on site, choose positions with clear sightlines and adjust as gardens grow.
Do you cover acreage in Buderim?
Yes. Gate intercoms, shed coverage and wireless links are common on larger blocks.
