Big sites, few people.
Western Downs energy sites share a problem: large perimeters, valuable equipment and very few people on the ground. A solar farm under construction may hold panels, inverters and copper cable worth a great deal, spread across open country.
The answer is detection, not just recording. We use thermal and AI-based cameras along fence lines so a person crossing at night creates an alert, with a verified image, that goes straight to a monitoring centre or a site manager.
Energy and gas sites
- Solar farm construction and operation
- Gas field compounds and depots
- Substation and battery storage perimeters
- Pipe and cable laydown yards
- Construction offices and crib huts
Power where there isn't any.
Construction sites move faster than permanent power. Off-grid solar camera towers can be in place within days, linked by 4G or wireless back to the head office.
As the project progresses, we can transition from temporary towers to a fixed system with fibre or wireless backbone. Supply is Australia-wide. Installation and service are in Queensland.
Temporary to permanent
- Solar towers during construction
- Thermal perimeter detection
- Fixed CCTV and access at handover
- Ongoing service agreements
Common questions.
Can you secure a solar farm while it is being built?
Yes. Solar camera towers with perimeter analytics cover construction stages and can move as the build progresses.
Is thermal necessary?
On long, dark perimeters thermal cameras detect people reliably at range, which makes them well suited to energy sites.
Can alerts go to a monitoring centre?
Yes. Verified alerts can be sent to a monitoring centre for response, or to on-call staff.
