The town-based side of mining.
Plenty of mining work never sets foot on a lease. In Emerald, it is the regional office, the hire yard, the parts store and the training room. These sites run more like commercial premises, with staff, visitors and stock that need protecting.
We bring commercial-grade systems to them: access control that manages staff and contractors properly, CCTV that records clearly, and alarms connected to monitoring. Often these sites link to camps or yards further out, so we design them to report to one platform.
Common Emerald sites
- Regional offices and training rooms
- Equipment hire and parts yards
- Mechanical and fabrication workshops
- Agribusiness sheds and grain storage
- Transport and logistics depots
One system, many sites.
If you run a depot here, a workshop in Mackay and a camp out past Blackwater, there is little value in three different systems. Nx Witness brings cameras from every site into one interface, and Inner Range or Gallagher can manage credentials across locations.
Structured cabling and network work are part of the job, so the system sits on a backbone that is documented and supportable.
What ties it together
- Nx Witness multi-site VMS
- Central access control administration
- Structured data cabling
- Monitoring for after-hours alarms
Common questions.
Do you work on agricultural sites around Emerald?
Yes. Irrigation, cropping and agribusiness sites often need the same yard and shed security as mining services sites.
Can Emerald join our existing multi-site system?
In most cases, yes. We review what is installed and integrate where it is sound, rather than replacing it by default.
Do you do the data cabling too?
Yes. We install structured cabling and network infrastructure so security and IT share a clean, documented backbone.
